Project Description
Eligibility:
- Prior head and neck cancer
- Problems swallowing
Benefits:
- Cannot be guaranteed
- May receive recommendations by the speech-language pathologists for medical referral or diet modifications
- May help swallowing
Time Commitment:
- Up to 14 visits over 7 to 8 months at Hines VA Hospital or Northwestern University
- Each visit lasts approximately 1 hour
**You will be compensated for your travel and time.**
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. Your refusal will not affect future care at any V.A. Hospital.
